12/29/2012 ~ Frosted Wonderland

This month's challenge in I Double Dog Dare You to create is a Frosted Wonderland In the meadow, you can build a snowman, but the only question is will it be a one-dimension, two-dimension, or letting you creativity explode to do 3-d Wonderland... stay warm but we want it frosty . . . do you dare ????

It's raining at my house and is going to rain all weekend.  My project is a shadowbox to bring the winter inside.  I used pieces of cards, and craft pieces my aunt gave me.

December 9th-Christmas Blog Hop

We were encouraged in this hop to show our creativeness.  There was not a specific theme other than Christmas.  I made two ornaments that I hope get you in the Christmas spirit.  My aunt recently gave me a lot of her vintage beads, buttons, and ribbons.  I used these vintage pieces to create these two ornaments.

December 1, 2012 Calendar Girls

My holiday is National letter writing Day---which we don't do nearly enough of.I have a letter that my Great-Great Grandfather wrote my Great-Great Grandmother during the civil war.It has always been one of my most treasured letters.I have just taken a couple of pictures so you will get the idea of the letter writing.And then I made a card (which I don't send enough of) for my BFF.

Joe Cool at the Water Fountain

Welcome to Joe Cool at the Water Fountain. Can't you just picture him lowering his glasses and checking out who is walking by?? Snoopy has many characters but today, we are showing our talents using Joe Cool whether he be at the water fountain, on campus, or just hangin'!

If you got past Woodstock and have arrived from Jearise ~ then you have arrived at the right spot!!! Kudos!

For my project, I have made a Joe Cool Card featuring his likeness raised, and as only he would have it a colorful background.  I added the two red buttons to set it off and accent a cool dude.
