December 9th-Christmas Blog Hop

Well I hope everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit.  Welcome to the December 9th-Christmas Blog Hop.  If you got here from Jearise - http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com then you are on the right track!!  If for some reason you didn't, please start at the beginning with Ashley - http://thebloghopprincess.blogspot.com .

We were encouraged in this hop to show our creativeness.  There was not a specific theme other than Christmas.  I made two ornaments that I hope get you in the Christmas spirit.  My aunt recently gave me a lot of her vintage beads, buttons, and ribbons.  I used these vintage pieces to create these two ornaments.

I have included the entire lineup so you won't miss a thing.

Ashley - http://thebloghopprincess.blogspot.com
Marji - http://www.fstampaholic.blogspot.com/

I am the last stop on your travels for today.  I hope you have enjoyed all that our crafty ladies have prepared for you.

Merry Christmas

Love the ornaments Anita. The first one with the buttons is so colorful. My kids would love it! I was wondering...Did you put buttons in the bulb and then glue some on the outside too or are they all on the inside or just glued on the outside? You second bulb is beautiful and the colors go together so well. Glad to be hopping with you.

I love those Christmas decorations. They're a great way to showcase antique findings.

When I was little, my Mom had a Charles Chips tin full of antique buttons (many from Burlington Coat factory from the 1950s and 1960s). I loved playing with the buttons when I was a kid. I think she sold the tin in a garage sale, oh how I wish I had it today!
