Hunka Hunka Burning Love Blog Hop

Its a Hunka Hunka Burning love with our tribute to Elvis Presley at Hearbreak Hotel but you better be careful or you will end up at Jail House Rock because I Was the One and Love Me Tender with the Memories as I Was Crying in the Chapel with Suspicious Minds because you ain't nothing but a Hound Dog but I Can't Help But Falling in Love with you as you are Always on My Mind and I'm All Shook Up while I wearing my Blue Suede Shoes and please please please Don't Be Cruel .

Elvis also sang beautiful gospel music which was truly Amazing Grace not to mention saying his Evening Prayer which proclaimed How Great Thou Art! I Believe that In the Garden for Just a Closer Walk for Just a Little Talk with Jesus to be Nearer My God to Thee.

Elvis Aaron Presley a (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century.

Lots of memories for those of us that were around during that time but his memory lives on with his music and movies ... there isn't a Saturday without an Elvis Presley movie on with his beautiful co-stars such as Ann Margaret! There isn't an oldie station that doesn't have an Elvis song playing and we all have our favorites!

This blog hop is to show a tribute to an American icon, Elvis Presley through his movies, his music and his swivel hips!!! Sit back and get the rabbit ears adjusted to watch our really big show!!!!

If you came in your pink cadillac to visit today, Mama's happy and would love to serve you some peanut butter banana pie but we would love for you to begin at the beginning with Lynne at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/. You should have arrived from Kimberly ~ http://scrappingrookie.blogspot.com .

Your next act is being provided by Rhonda ~ http://craftingwithblue.blogspot.com Thank you, thank you very much. . .

Just in Elvis has left the room and you get lost along the way here's the entire line-up:

I Love Lucy Blog Hop

We are paying homage to the antics of our favorite red-head and recalling some of our favorite episodes!!! Sit back, adjust the rabbit ears and . . . If you're just visiting my station today, don't get me wrong as I always love visitors but I wouldn't want you to miss a single episode and would want you to start at the beginning of our season with Lynne. I’m glad you came to visit cause that means the rabbit ears are adjusted correctly . . .

My favorite thing about Lucy, Ethel, Ricky & Fred, was that through thick and thin, they always remained the best of friends.

I love the soft mixture of colors in these papers and the handmade flower!

Your next episode is our lovely and very talented Miss Lisa to get Lucy off the ledge when she thought she would be Superman for Little Ricky or that time Lucy and Ethel bought the freezer and got locked in there or . . . OK, you get the idea......

The Birds ~ August 19

Oh no!!!! Those nasty pigs stole our eggs!!! How dare they make an omelet or pickled eggs with our offspring!!!! I vote we attack those pigs!!!!! They're laughing at us and that will not do!!!!! Bombs AWAY!!!!! ATTACK!!!!!!! We must save our children!!!! Black Bird flies through the air and bombs the hiding place of the King Pig with no avail. Yellow Bird to the rescue flies fast and far and topples some of the hiding place of King Pig!!! Red Bird flies straight and knocks a few more of the building. White bird, says "watch me" and she flies and when touched drops an egg and explodes a few more boards of the hiding place. Green bird has awesome powers when touched, he will return when least expected and crash into the sight! Finally Blue Bird's special talent when touched becomes three (3)!!!! ATTACK!!!!!!!
