10-22-2012 Bewitched

Welcome to the Bewitched Blog Hop. Have you ever wanted to just "twitch" your nose and make things happen without of course the meddling "mother-in-law" and the other cast of characters!

Bewitched was an American situation comedy broadcast for eight seasons from 1964 to 1972. The show is about a witch who marries a mortal and tries to lead the life of a typical suburban housewife. The series even had a different Darren cast part way through the broadcast. There was a wild cast of characters including the neighbor, Gladys, and Larry, Darren's boss.

If you just happened to land here on your broom today by chance, I would love for you to start this hop at beginning which is Lynne at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/.

For my project I made a Bewitched Card using Hooligans Paper from CTMH.  I used a witch from Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge.

Your next episode is Jearise   http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com      and fly safe!

Link For Pink 2012 Thursday 10-11

Welcome again to Her Craftiness Link For Pink 2012.Today's card is in memory of my Mother. She had a radical mastectomy in 1980 and although she lived until 2007 the breast cancer did not help her depression or her other emotional and mental problems. She was my Mother and I loved her and miss her very much. My "craftiness" I got from her and my Aunt. Remember to have your mammogram and let's all keep praying for a cure.

Today's card is another image from Louby Lou Digital Designs.

Have a great day and please leave a comment---I love reading what you have to say.

Link Up For Pink 2012

Her Craftiness and Lynne Kirsch have inspired us to do everything we can to a cure for  Breast Cancer in our future---and it all begins with  awareness.A friend of mine  (well, really younger than me) has two almost teenage sons. Her , her husband and the boys have all dedicated their lives to the Lord. She went on a Mission trip to Haiti and fell in love with a little orphan girl. They have been through the harrowing adoption process and were almost ready to have her here in the Unioted States and she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is a nurse and her Mother is too.But they never gave up.She went through all the treatments with a smile and Praising God.She is doing so good---she beat breast cancer---Today the little girl is with her and they are on a plane coming home to the United States. She is such an inspiration and there are millions of stories just this inspirational. There are also sad stories---and that's why  we have to continue to bring awareness to the awful disease.
I made a card "Calling For A Cure" today----I used a Louby Lou digital stamp and colored it and added just a "little"glimmer mist and glitter."  Keep stopping by Her Craftiness and we will have projects all month.

A Very Special Bride

As most of you know I have two sons----well, I do miss alot of "girly activities".But my family has been fortunate to have been "adopted"into a wonderful Christian family complete with grown girls and little girls. One of my adopted nieces Kristen got married Saturday.Kristen's family are  wonderful Christians and Kristen is one of the most remarkable youg ladies I have ever met. She is beautiful (a huge understatement)inside and out.She is at ease with anyone, very generous with her gifts and her time and always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She is brillant-graduating college in December and I know she will always do very well in life. She wanted her wedding to have a vintage theme and she did a lot of the work herself-inbetween going to school, working, etc. etc.Her beautiful Mother Kim ask if I would make Kristen a book that the guests could sign.I found a guest book  and started the "vintage" procedure. I used Pion paper from Lovely Linda ,a lot of Tim Holtz distress ink and even more Modge Podge. The filigree heart also came from Lovely Linda. It meant so much to me for her to have this.I think she really liked it .There are a lot of young people in her position that would have an "attitude" and want a $100,000.00 wedding but Kristen is such a blessing .God has truly blessed me with Kristen, her imediate family and especially her Grandparents.Kim and Jimmy (Kristen's parents) have done a remarkable job raising their children.I know God will bless Kristen's marriage to Bailey and I know they will live happily ever after.I love you Kristen!!!!

Link for Pink 2012

There is a wonderful Design Group on Facebook called Her Craftiness.  They are sponsoring a Link For Pink 2012 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  Everyone of us can identify with the tragedy of this terrible disease.  I have been personally affected in my family and circle of friends during my lifetime.

For my contribution today, I made a card using a Sweet Magnolia Stamp, and colored it with my Prisma Colored Pencils.  I hope you stop by and see all the projects that will be posted this month.  Keep praying for a cure.
